This temple was originally constructed by tuthmosis II and Amenhotep II at Kalabsha, 40 miles south of Aswan, the construction of this temple dates back to the early roman era in Egypt around 30 B.C when it was created in the honor of God Mandulis who was the Nubian sun god, then end the tour by the long awaited nubian museum which is built in tribute to the Nubian people and their culture and was opened in 1997. The museum exhibits thousands of antiquities that would have been lost under the waters of lake nasser and houses precious artifacts that reflect the ability of the ancient Egyptians in different fields. Among the artifacts are the statue of Ramses II and many other displays that your tour guide will explain to you in detail during your tour.
